I'm Wessel de Vries from The Netherlands.I have been an English teacher for 20 years but now I very much enjoy being an 'ecological' gardener with the local council
.I've been to the U.K countless times because I love the countryside , the history , pubs and so much more.I very much enjoy walking when I'm over there. I'm even a member with 'Ramblers' .
I don't have any pets myself but I like looking after them.
Through House sitters I hope to be able to visit the U.K and explore the area.
I wouldn't mind a house with a bit of a garden since I've turned my hobby into my job.
A garden is not a 'must' though.

It was lovely to return to my two relaxed and happy cats after their week hosting Wessel and he appeared to have enjoyed his stay in the north Yorkshire dales. I have asked him to house sit again. He told me that it was his first time looking after cats & I will remind him of a couple of things before his next stay.

Wessel is a charming gentleman and it was fun getting to know him a little. He took good care of our home and animals -lengthy walks for the dog! The house was clean and tidy on our return and he had very kindly bought us a lovely bunch of flowers to welcome us home. I would highly recommend Wessel as a house sitter and would be delighted to have him stay for us again.

Wessel was a great house- and pet-sitter. He is a really great guy, easy to communicate and has a great sense of humor! We came back from our holidays to a happy cat and some new flowers in our pots that was a really welcomed gift :) I would highly recommend Wessel!

Wessel was a great house-sitter and we felt very comfortable leaving our pet kitten with him for the two weeks we were away. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived home, and he even had Christmas gift for my son !! I would definitely recommend :-)
