60, Health Professional
Hi, my name is Wendy I have been house sitting and looking after homes and animals for family and friends for decades.
I am a non-smoker. I would care for your home and pets as I would my own.
I have experience caring for and owned a variety of animals including dogs (from Chihuahua to German Shepherds and a multitude of breeds in between), cats, fish, horses, goats, cattle, sheep, chickens, parrots and a bearded dragon.
The pictures in my profile are of my own much loved pets and some of the beautiful creatures I have looked after for other people..
My qualifications and history include equestrian groom (SA), Pony Club riding instructor (QLD), President Trail Riders Club (QLD) and senior first aid certificate (Current).
I'm a registered Health Practitioner.
I enjoy being with and around animals, travelling abroad, home renovations, bush walking, reading, kayaking, writing and gardening.
I’m from Australia and will be in the UK from the start of May to the end of July 2025. I still have availability for house sits for June up until 26th July 2025.
My aim is to learn more about the history and culture of the people and places in the UK. And as it’s my first time to Scotland, that is where I am hoping to stay for some weeks.
I am offering my services to house sit and look after for your pets and garden. I will be kind and caring to your pets, leave your house tidy and I’ll follow instructions diligently and I’ll give you regular updates/photos of your pets.
I am happy to provide contact details for previous housesits on request and to answer any questions you may have.
My travel to UK is booked and I am looking forward to this opportunity. Thank you for considering my application.

Below are referrals from my previous housesits in Australia :
Wendy has been a regular house sitter/ Pet carer at our house for over 20 years
Her diligence in maintaining our house during our absence for periods of up to 6 weeks goes without question
And caring for our 2 Shelties was exceptional! They loved her.
We would have no hesitation in highly recommending her in whatever capacity- house sitter/pet carer - she undertakes

Wendy has looked after our animals and home a number of times over the years.
We have always been happy with her care of our horses Jet and Sargent. We are on five acres and our old farm house house has many quirks, Wendy took this in her stride and is flexible and competent in managing situations. Our poodle Thomas is usually very stressed when I go away, but he is always content with Wendy - she is the dog whisperer.
It’s been wonderful knowing Wendy will treat our home and animal family with love and care when we travel overseas.
I would highly recommend anyone needing a reliable, responsible, and friendly person.
Please contact me for verification or more information.
Have a great day
Cheers

I can highly recommend Wendy to care for and love your pets as her own. Wendy did a week of house sitting for me, looking after my home, Daphne my cat, Jasper my dog and bird cheeko. I asked for regular updates which I received with lovely photos included. When I returned home my house was just as I had left it (actually tidier) and my feather and fur babies were happy and content and my pot plants looked better than I left them! Will definitely see if she is available for my next holiday.
