Caring and responsible Dutch woman who likes walking and cycling, would like to combine her travels and volunteering with some housesitting. Also willing to do some gardening.

Visited the UK very many times! Worked as an au pair at Flatford Mill Field Centre (where the famous painter John Constable was born), came for holidays a lot and accompanied two groups of Dutch people on a tour through Scotland.
Was brought up with dogs and cats, had two cats of my own, and love to spend time with them.

I was a volunteer in Worcestershire and Wales (in 2020 and 2021) through Workaway; after that I've been volunteering near Oban, and did a housesit in Aberdeenshire.

At the moment I am back in The Netherlands. Not available.

From first contact, Hanne was 100% Arrived when she said she would. Got to know both house and dogs in no time (neither the easiest as lots of quirks with both)! We left knowing dogs were in excellent hands. Unknown to everyone - Hurricane Arwen was lurking. Our first knowledge was a message from BT on our mobile to say there would be a power cut but that they were working on it. At that stage we were in another country and had no chance of doing a thing. Hanne was totally unphased. ... MORE
