I am retired after a 27 year career within The Ministry of Justice and my husband Marc now retired having served a 26 year career with the Royal Air Force where many of those years were served abroad.
Even though we don't have any pets presently we have always had a variety of them throughout our lives. I've always been an owner of dogs and have fostered for a rescue centre looking after many dogs whilst waiting for their forever home. Marc has owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs and a pony. So between us we have experience and are confident looking after a range of pets.
We are both non-smokers and are active enjoying a variety of keep fit activities. I enjoy yoga & walking anywhere & everywhere. I am an avid reader & also love good food, spending a fair bit of my time researching & cooking new recipes. I relax by pottering in my garden & transplanting seedings to gift on to friends & neighbours. Marc has recently become more serious with his cycling.
He is adept at DIY maintenance and repair around the home which he would be more than happy to deal with any such issues whilst looking after your home. Music is a great passion for Marc & our home always has a tune playing.
We both enjoy dancing & try to attend a "Northern Soul" night at least once a month. I love to hear the music of my teenage years & the more we attend the better my dancing gets!
We are happy to look after your home with or without pets.
Between us you can be confident that your home and pets will be safely cared for. We would be happy to keep you informed during our stay with photos of your pets and when necessary, keep you up to date with any developments and manage any issues that may occur.
We love travelling to new and interesting places and enjoy meeting new people. We have both travelled extensively around the world and now look forward to discovering more of our lovely country.
For the next stage of our lives we are looking for new and interesting experiences now that the constraints of work have been lifted. So we hope to see and do as much as we can in the UK & we see house sitting as a mutually beneficial experience for both parties.
We are happy to undertake short stays within a couple hours of travelling from Lincoln and stays of a week -3 weeks which we are happy to travel further afield.
We look forward to hearing from you and having the opportunity to house sit for you and your pets.
Lesley and Marc were wonderful housesitters! After I completely screwed up the dates they were incredibly accommodating to the last minute change and went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly!
They did an amazing job looking after our two cats with regular updates and photos and we returned to a sparkling clean flat.

Lesley and Mark were wonderful house sitters in everyway. Our house was house immaculate, the dogs tired but very happy and as a welcome home present Lesley made us a marvellous Lemon drizzle cake . We would have no hesitation in recommending them and hope the will come back next year.
We couldn't have asked for a better couple to come and house sit for us. We had a good exchange of information leading up to our trip away to make the arrangements work effectively for both of us. They took great care of our dog Arthur, enjoying his demands for play and attention, sending us photos and updates. Thank you so much to Leslie and Mark for looking after the house and Amber so well. Communication throughout was fantastic and whilst away had several photos of Amber having a great time on lovely walks and demanding play time! - clearly loving their company. House beautifully clean on return together with a homemade orange cake which was delicious! Would thoroughly recommend and thank you once again Leslie and Mark.
We really got lucky with Marc and Lesley. They were brilliant in every way. The dogs loved them to bits and were really sorry to see them go. The house was immaculate on our return and the best bit was the wonderfully funny updates of our two dogs. Everyday we received a little video or picture. We felt totally in the loop and hardly missed them at all. I highly recommend Marc and Leslie stay with you if you can bag them.
Lesley and Marc were marvellous house sitters. Arranging the house sit was easy via a zoom call and emails. Whilst away they kept us updated about Honey and Arthur. It was a delight to come home to a lovely clean house and garden. I would whole heartedly recommend Lesley and Marc as house sitters.
