We're not afraid to roll up our sleeves, get a bit dirty, and dive into the tasks that keep a farm running smoothly. Meet Gaynor & Lisa: Compassionate House and Pet Sitters with a Wanderlust Spirit
Hello! We’re Gaynor and Lisa, a devoted couple with a shared journey of 19 years, nine of those as proud partners in marriage. Our story began in the vibrant Gay Village of Manchester, a tale as heart warming as it is delightfully cliché. Together, we’ve navigated the joys of raising our son Thom and caring for our beloved pets—Paddy, Dante, and Skye—each member adding vibrant strokes to the canvas of our family life.
Transitioning from careers in teaching and working for the Royal Mail, we’ve embraced the entrepreneurial spirit, each running our own businesses. This shift has not only fuelled our passions but has also granted us the flexibility to indulge in our love for hiking, yoga, weight-training, and, most importantly, travel.
Travel and pets are the twin joys of our lives, yet the nomadic lifestyle we crave makes it challenging to commit to pet ownership full-time. It's why we've turned to house and pet sitting, seeking to blend our adoration for animals with our wanderlust. Our experience isn't just rooted in personal pet care; we've become the go-to sitters for our friends' dogs, ensuring they’re loved and cared for in their owners' absence.
Although new to the formal house sitting scene, we’re seasoned in the art of making homes our own while respecting and maintaining their essence, thanks to numerous stays in holiday cottages and Airbnb rentals. Our love for animals knows no bounds—whether urban pets or farm animals, we're enthusiastic and quick learners, ready to adapt and care for any creature.
As a couple, we embody cleanliness, professionalism, and trustworthiness. Our friends describe us as loyal, fun, and utterly reliable—a testament to the love and care we’re eager to extend to your home and pets. We understand the importance of reliable Wi-Fi for our professional commitments and are keen to ensure smooth communication and operations while we look after your cherished space and companions.
Our careers have honed our skills in caring, professionalism, and organisation, qualities we're excited to bring to our house and pet sitting assignments. We’re open to meeting via Zoom to ensure a perfect match for both parties.

Unfortunately, Gaynor and Lisa's stay was cut short due to tragic and unforseen circumstances, but in the short time they stayed, they were the best sitters we could have asked for. I received daily pup-dates, showing them on wonderful walks with my dogs, they were incredibly communicative and just a lovely couple all around. Would highly recommend!
