Hello
I am a young fit recently retired self-employed picture framer. I have been house sitting for husband and wife vicars for several years and also for a lady with two cocker spaniel dogs.
After 55 years work (mainly self employed) I am looking forward to some time for me. My husband died 7 years ago and my dad who brought me up as a single parent, died 6 years ago aged 95. I have no children.
I will travel and house sit with a couple of books and a small watercolour paintbox and will have plenty of time for pet care.

Barbara is such a lovely lady who recently looked after our little old lady Jack Russell. I was quite anxious about leaving her but I shouldn’t have been, Barbara was brilliant with her even when she didn’t settle the first night. After that initial night she was fine and enjoyed spending time with Barbara in the garden and Barbara looked after her fabulously. Barbara is an amazing person it has been a joy to spend a couple of days with her before and after my time away from home. Little Bertie my Chihuahua was soon at home with her choosing to sit on her lap unbidden almost immediately.. During my absence we communicated regularly, I received photos and updates regarding outings and Bertie’s wellbeing.
Barbara is a competent innovative reliable person, I look forward to her returning later in the year.

Barbara, ls an excellent sitter, very friendly and down to earth. We knew mabel would be in safe hands, while we were away. She looked after our home and mabel very well. The house was immaculate. When we arrived back from our holiday. And mabel had been well cared for, in fact she went above and beyond house sitting duties. And I would highly recommend her.
