Greetings!

I'm Kim, a British born Kiwi (dual citizenship). I grew up and went to school in Middx, UK, and moved to New Zealand when I was 30.

I grew up with dogs and have also had many cats over the years. I love all animals.

Since my cats all passed on a few years ago, for the past several years I have pet-sat for enjoyment, and also spent 14 months full-time pet-sitting between Sept 2022- and Nov 2023, travelling the length and breadth of New Zealand, caretaking dogs, cats, guinea pigs, chickens and veggie gardens. I now continue to do pet-occasional sits whilst living in my own home, and also when travelling abroad.

I am visiting family in the UK and due to neither of my parents having spare rooms, I need a place to stay during my visit. I am extremely tidy and respectful of people's homes, and take great pride in wherever I live.

I am very much a 'home-body', and work for myself as an online health coach, so I am at home much of the time. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, and rarely have visitors, especially since losing contact with most friends in the UK.

I am active and love walking dogs. I'm also good at looking after plants, either indoor or outside, including veggie gardens.

Kim was very organized and communicated a lot while we were away. Sending pictures of the [two] dogs out walking and at home relaxing, which were so good to receive. They seemed very happy and comfortable. The house was very tidy when we got home and was as we left it. She took very good care of our property and plants. Both were looking good on returning home.

Three months is a long time to be a way from your animals, property and home (especially on a rural lifestyle block). Given this, we invested a lot of time initially selecting the right Housesitting Company and then our housesitter. After selecting the company, we were provided with some great potential housesitters. Through discussing our specific requirements (especially, as they related to our two dogs, cat and chickens) it became clear that Kim had to be our housesitter. During our time a way Kim ensured that we were kept across what was happening at home and ensured that we had lots of photos and videos of our animals. Returning after 3 months was made even more special when our animals were in such great spirits and obviously had a great connection with Kim. We thank Kim and wish her all the very best for her future Housesitting Adventures.”

Kim recently looked after my home, and pets, while I was on holiday for one-month. I am pleased to highly recommend her for any future house sitting opportunities. Kim ensured that my property and pets (2 dogs, and 1 cat) were well cared for while I was away. We came home to a clean home, and happy pets. Kim also communicated promptly and effectively, providing me with updates (at my request) throughout her stay.
Overall, I was very satisfied, and I would not hesitate to have Kim housesit for us again.

I requested Kim to house sit and look after my 16month old Chihuahua, Tommy while I went overseas for approximately 7 weeks. This was my first time away from my dog and I was quite nervous about leaving him. I found Kim to be very warm, lovely, friendly and great at communicating, she put my nerves at ease and after I left for the airport I felt very comfortable leaving her to look after the house and Tommy. Kim is very engaging and very easy to talk to. I was kept up to date with regular emails and photos of how things were going at the house and what exciting activities her and Tommy did. Anything that Kim was not sure of she would send me an email to ask for clarification, input or suggestion. I was very confident that Tommy was in good hands. Kim looked after the house well, attended to some gardening for me and when I returned the house was very clean and tidy! I would have no hesitation in recommending Kim to house sit a home and look after pets. If I had the opportunity again to request Kim to house sit I would definitely ask for her.

Kim arrived at the time arranged and was honest and caring towards my cat. I received regular photos of my cat while I was away, and when I came home my house was clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to have her house sit again to look after my cat. [note - owner did invite me to housesit again].

Kim was such a delight to have - a nice, easy going person. very clean and thoughtful and she kept us updated all the time with photos [2 dogs and 1 cat] and details. Definitely recommend her for others, and would definitely love to work with her again in the future.

Kim looked after our home, two cats and our garden. The house was immaculate, cats all happy and garden alive when we came back. Unfortunately my husband had to come home early - Kim was very accommodating and left a few days early as a result. All up a great result. We would use her again
