Hello.
So, I love animals, all animals, but especially dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. I think most animals love me too :) and have trained puppies, including my own dogs in the past. I also owned and showed my horse for 20+ years, and regularly helped my uncle's on working farms (dairy cows, sheep and chickens).
I'm currently living in Northern Ireland with my parents (because my dad has dementia), who have a small holding of 2 cats, 3 dogs, a horse, pigs, terrapins, ducks, geese, chickens, and cockerells. Quite the hoot, literally, but I've lived with animals all my life so comfortable with all sorts of the wee crazies.
I help maintain a large garden at my parents house, which my dad had kept immaculate, so I'm used to using various lawnmowers, strimmers, hedge cutters etc. While I'm no expert, I do enjoy gardening, planting flowers and looking after house plants.
I'm also a property owner, so would be very respectful and careful with your home and garden, and I'm a health inspector 'by trade', so clean and tidy. I often take part-time contract work in my profession, and enjoy the contract element in order to explore new areas, scenery, coasts, hills, cities, or cultures. And hence my semi nomadic lifestyle.

Having Joy looking after our precious dogs and tropical fish was quite frankly brilliant. We were super pleased with her communication before and throughout out trip. She updated us often and was ‘switched on’ when something came up in the house. One of our dogs usually looses weight when we go away but not this time. Another dog is elderly and needed tablets (crushed) every morning. Nothing was too much trouble she was very clean and tidy..leaving the house cleaner that it was before! Joy ... MORE
