FIONA & Peter

We are an animal loving pair, mother and son, who also appreciate the opportunity to visit new places and meet new faces. Peter loves the sea and ships so anywhere close to the seaside or a maritime museum is a bonus! We have experience of all sorts of animals, including dogs, cats, goats, horses, chickens, ducks and geese. Peter especially loves cats and has a soft spot for rabbits. We are also keen on wildlife and can feed the garden birds and help out in the garden if desired. We are used to living in remote places, but can adapt to city and suburban life. Peter is home educated so is able to "learn on the road". We are responsible and respectful when taking care of your home and will leave it in perfect order. On rare occasions, if our hosts are open to the idea, another of my grown-up kids accompanies us to a housesit. All of my children grew up around a variety of animals and have lots of experience in caring for them. One of my daughters is a horse riding instructor and cares for horses on a daily basis. Sometimes my elderly mother likes to join us also.

Generally, for shorter sits of one to two weeks, we would prefer to be based in our home area of Northern Ireland. For sits anywhere else in the UK, two weeks or longer is ideal. Thanks for considering us!
