Hello, I'm Frances, living and working here in London.

Being self-employed affords me the opportunity to take time away at my leisure... l know, Iucky me.

I enjoy spending my downtime by the coast and out among the countryside, simply breathing it all in.

I first caught the gardening bug after a friend who tends the gardens at 'Lamb House' in Rye, showed me a ‘Callicarpa Beautyberry' shrub adorned with the most stunning metallic royal purple berries (my favourite colour), it then became the new Rock ‘n’ Roll in my life.

As for the ‘Handy’ bit; my earliest childhood memory was one Christmas morning sat on the porch with my shiny new present, a tool kit, which I then proceeded to dismantle using the tools it contained.

l had a curiosity as to how things worked and were put together, however, my mother didn’t see it that way and so gave me a right ticking-off, but l was simply reverse engineering, albeit at the age of six.

When I haven't got a trowel, secateurs or a screwdriver in my hands, it's a guitar, my other job is as a gigging musician/singer.
