Safe house!
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
52, Occupational Therapist
61, Retired Tribunal Judge
Hi:
We live in the Calder Valley, West Yorkshire. We've had lovely success using this site to find sitters for our own house and pets. Now we're looking to do some sitting for other people:
At the age of 12, our Border Terrier (Pippa aka Pogs) tends to spend at least 20 hours of each day resting - with occasional bursts of ball-chasing. Pippa is very soft and a qualified therapy dog - she makes occasional visits to patients at Rach's workplace - the Marie Curie hospice in Bradford.
Rach is an Occupational Therapist and has worked for Marie Curie for over five years. Her hobbies include walking, art classes and singing in a choir. Rach is good at tech stuff and DIY.
After more than 23 years as a tribunal judge, Paul counts himself as semi-retired. He now does bits and pieces of work as a qualified pool lifeguard - plus bits of garden labouring. Paul's hobbies include occasional DJ'ing (60th birthday parties a speciality!) and doing short triathlons (swim-cycle-run) slowly. Paul is rubbish at DIY but usually able to change a lightbulb or mow a lawn without messing up.
Neither of us smoke.
We like to think that we're tidy and efficient when it comes to running our own household (our household includes a cat – Ellie - as well as Pippa) on a week-by-week basis. We’re affectionate pet-lovers, and very reliable and enjoy long walks. (We recently spent 4 days walking part of the south west coast path) We would take very good care of your pet/s and property. We hope we sound like your ideal house-sitters!
Please get in touch if you have any questions for us,
Rachel - Paul - Pippa
