I grew up with cats, always liked them, usually they like me! They are such curious, interesting and individual creatures!
I have looked after flats and houses for friends and family many times over the years including their various pets, houseplants and gardens, sometimes for periods of months in London, Kent, Norfolk, Zurich, Bangkok etc
I have been a house owner in the past so I am well aware of security issues, locking up, checking windows etc when out

I grew up and lived and worked in London for many years and have lived in many other places including many years in the countryside in various places in UK and Germany and also for long periods in Thailand and Bali Indonesia in recent years.
I speak English, German and some French and get on with people everywhere.
I returned to the UK in May 2023 after a number of years of travelling and living abroad and have been a full time house sitter since then.

Stephen is a very competent cat and house sitter. He is excellent at continuing the routines of the cats and keeping them well fed, watered and giving out plenty of attention too!

Stephen was a good sitter, who ended up looking after our two cats in Jersey for a period of just over seven weeks. Whilst we were away we had weekly contact from him with photos of both of the cats. On our return we found both the cats relaxed and happy. All the house plants had been well looked after. Stephen is a very experienced house and cat sitter.
This was Steve's second sit and therefore very easy as we knew each other and the routines were familiar. Yet again I had the opportunity to enjoy my holiday without worrying. Stephen was an excellent communicator and a superb house sitter for our house and two cats. He was great at understanding our instructions regarding the house as he's done this before and from other reviews, it's clear he knows what to do and how to do it. This was the first time I had used a pet sitter and I cannot say just how great the arrangement was. Steve was the perfect pet sitter! I left feeling that my cat and house were in extremely safe hands, and I wasn't disappointed. Its fair to say that my cat missed him as soon as he went. Steve was a lovely guy to have around! He’s got lots of interesting chat and Bailey took to him straight away! My flat was clean and tidy upon my return and he even stripped the bed for me and my plants are all happy too! I have already booked him for my next trip away. I highly recommend this lovely gent!
Our two cats have very different personalities and Steve looked after them very well. He also fed our nocturnal visitors, the hedgehogs.

Steve was responsive in his communication throughout and left the house very clean and tidy, which is so appreciated after a week away. Binx can be a shy cat but it sounds that Steve was able to win her round, which is so positive, especially as they are all different! I would recommend Steve as a house and cat sitter.
Steve has been a great sitter, looking after Daisy, all the house plants, and the pots and veggies in the garden as well, during the hot weather.
