Hey, I’ve recently returned home to Bonnie Edinburgh after a year of travelling Europe and Australia.

I have just arrived in Northern Ireland (7/9) to housesit for a couple with some goats, ducks, cats and dogs but will be returning to Edinburgh on the 17th of September and starting a new job very soon. The flat I had organised has fallen through so I am looking for housesits in Edinburgh and surrounding areas as a buffer until I find a permanent place. I have family and friends to stay with in the meantime but would like some of my own space, even temporarily.

I cat sat for a lady in Australia for 6 weeks recently and had a great time. She had the most amazing garden and looking after the watering, pruning and lawn was all part of the job. I’ve worked as a gardener before and enjoy all work outside. I’ve lived with and cared for several dogs also and love going for walks! I can’t wait to have my own golden retriever after my next big trip to Canada.

I have used a volunteer/skills exchange platform called workaway in many countries while travelling and appreciate that it takes a lot of trust to leave your home or pet with someone. I am happy to meet in person before confirming any sit to have a wee chat to get to know one another and the job involved.
