We have both retired from the NHS. My wife worked in nursing and I was in security. We are fit non-smokers. Married for 47 years we are solid and reliable.
Having had 2 sons who love having pets as much as we do, we have cared for a wide variety of pets over the years with springer spaniels always around. Since retiring we have been lucky to borrow Daisy ( a cavalier ) to go on our daily walks.
We enjoy gardening, cycling, and walking. A few years ago we walked coast to coast (192 miles in 13 days) to raise money for or local hospice. We have since done a number of other trails including the Cotswold and West Highland Ways. It's a great way to see other areas. With our grandson now at senior school and required less for child minding duties, we see this as a great way to meet new people,their pets and visit more places.
We also enjoy our holidays and are lucky our son lives nearby and looks after our home for us . It's great to come back and find everything as it should be. We love our home and would take as much care of your home and pets as we would our own.
Phil and Wendy are a delightful couple who sat for us recently looking after Millie our dog and our house . It only took a short acquaintance with them to ascertain that both Millie and house were in safe hands - the house was left in pristine condition Millie was happy and althogh not specified the lawn was mown.
Would have enjoyed spending more time with them but time and commitments only allowed a very short time on arrival. We would have no hesitation having them sit again if they were ... MORE
It was the second time that Phil and Wendi had sat here so I knew the house and the dogs would be in very safe hands. As always, their care for the home and the dogs was exemplary. With the unusually hot weather they managed to water every plant and flower bed, (quite a task!) and when I returned it was to a lush and colourful garden.

Phil and Wendy were wonderful caring and attentive sitters.
They looked after my home and two dogs Poppy and Winston really well and all was lovely and clean and tidy on my return.
Communication was excellent and nice photos of the dogs were sent to me whilst I was away.

Wendy and Phil looked after our house and animals for two weeks. Communication was great before the sit both on the website and by WhatsApp messages and phone call.
We had a few pictures of Inka and Tarka and updates while we were away which was just as we asked for.
They arrived exactly when they said they would and greeted the animals in a very friendly way.
Inka and Tarka were well looked after and very content when we arrived home. Inka had enjoyed some walks at the beach.

Wendy and Phil are the perfect pet sitters. Communication before and during the sit was excellent, including photos of a happy cat - which is always fun and reassuring. When we returned home, all was clean and tidy and washing all done. I would definitely recommend Wendy and Phil. Thank you both from us and Honey :). Glad you enjoyed you stay.

Phil and Roe are a lovely couple who enjoy life to the full. They were very attentive when we were giving them advice and instructions, they attended to our garden as best they could considering the extremely hot weather and the fish became their best friends.
I would strongly recommend this couple to anyone who is looking for a conscientious couple who would look after their home, garden and fish, haha, that they are responsible for.
Phil and Wendy had amazing reviews and we felt very lucky when they came to housesit for us. They had just come in the door when our phone rang and they must have heard me say 'they are both quite lovely'! We came back to find the dogs in great form and the house quitle literally looked as if it had been spring cleaned - every room was spotless! I am just sorry that they live six and a half hours away! Maybe next year Phil and Wendy?!
Phil and Wendy returned to our house to sit our Labrador Freddie for 10days when re recently went on holiday. We loved having them back and so did Freddie. They are a fabulous couple who truely treat your house like it's their home. We had utter confidence in leaving our house and dog in their care. The house was impeccable when we returned, our lawn had been mown and plants watered. Freddie was so sad to see them leave as were we. If they come to your home, you are very lucky people
Excellent sitters. Phil and Wendy were very keen to know as much as possible about Bucca. He was so well looked after and the house was immaculate.
We took an instant liking to Wendy and Phil, they are a lovely couple, great communicators and left our home perfect, the 3 'boys' (cats) were well cared for too.
Wendy and Phil arrived on time and seemed to get into the swing of their stay quickly and we think made the most of our lovely Warwickshire/Worcestershire area and late Winter sunshine.

Phil and Wendy house sat and looked after not just the house but our 1 year old Labrador, Freddie. Freddie adored them and we just want to say a massive thank you for looking after house and Freddie just like it was your own. Amazing �. Everything was left impeccable and Freddie is missing you both already
Phil and Wendy were wonderful house sitters, it was the first time that we have used this service and I was a bit nervous. We met Phil and Wendy for coffee before they sat for us and felt much more comfortable having met them. They are a lovely couple, they took our puppy out for walks and the animals were all looked after beautifully. The house was lovely, clean and tidy when we returned. We will definitely ask them next time we are away. Thank you!
From the moment we met Phil & Wendy we knew they were the right couple for us to mind our 300yr old house, with all its faults. We spoke prior to the sit and they came over to get details of the sit and for us all to meet each other. On the day of us departing they arrived and went through last minute reminders, they were amazing.
