Clare & Tim

We are a couple with 2 sons who are 19 and 18. We do contract heifer rearing of calves from 3 months to 15 months old on our small farm in Dorset. The heifers belong to a local farmer and join the dairy herd once their first calf is born.

We are passionate about the welfare of the calves we have coming on the farm and spend time being organised in the work we do with them. Tim also works for a local seed merchant and visits farms to advise on the growing of various arable and forage crops.

On the farm we have grass fields for grazing and making silage. We also grow some wheat each year and bale the straw for bedding down the calves in our barn over the winter.

We love living in the countryside, enjoying its space and beauty.

We enjoy exploring the UK during our time away from the farm.
