Hello👋 am a 61 year old international academic design professional now retired looking to explore house sitting opportunities around the world to connect with my extensive family and friends locally.
I have only just joined this platform a few days ago, I am very heartwarmed by the responses I experienced already; this is a great show of trust, confidance and good nature. I really love the idea of staying at homes away from home and as a homeowner myself will open mine up too.
I have experience of wonderful, rewarding and responsible dog, cat, birds and Guinea Pigs and Hamster owner- or buddy -ship.
As a home owner with mature exotic houseplants and 2 gardens I am also happy to look after watering and small plantcare requirements.
At my age I live quietly and very healthy - non smoking- due to slight energy and mobility limitations, but do daily walks of 3/4 miles as an ex athlete. I do appreciate a good domestic setup, especially a functional kitchen, as am a keen cook. My availability to house and pet sitting is all year round but ideally longer term per engagement.
