  • We have looked after a small farm three years in a row now. Including 20 sheep and lambs, two pigs, small pony. Many chickens and 3 roosters, dogs, Guinea pigs. As well as maintenance around the farm (13 acres) looking after large greenhouse and poly tunnel. Tennis court and swimming pool to look after; mowing, trimming when needed although there was a gardener and cleaners.

We are a semi-retired, professional couple, fit and active. We enjoy long walks and biking. Occasional small Pony minding, dog and cat, minding, chickens and ducks etc., Love gardening and general chores.
We have lived in New Zealand and Australia, now returned to the UK, having travelled extensively over the years.
We enjoy meeting people, and staying in and looking after property as if it were our own. Having lived on a farm, we adore animals and are non-smokers.
We are mobile, and are very flexible with dates.
Happy to come and take great care of your home and pets.

Anne and her husband Roy really cared for our pets while we where away for 2 weeks, Pippa, Shadow the dogs, Jess the cat and the fish Anne and Roy kept in contact before they sat for us which gave me confidence that they where happy to sit and that they had all the information they required before the arrived. Roy and Anne's care of my dog and home surpassed any expectations I may have had. Bertie clearly had a lovely time and the house is immaculate and outstanding jobs have, to my delight and amazement, been sorted. We were in regular contact and my taxing trip was made very easy knowing that everything was in capable hands.

Anne and Roy were fantastic housesitters! Really lovely people who looked after our home, garden and animals like they were their own. They did extra, thoughtful jobs around the house and garden( I keep finding things they've done!!!) and kept in regular contact. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them although please can you come back to us first !

Roy and Anne were the first house sitters we've had, so we didn't really know what to expect in terms of the amount of care and effort they would put in to looking after the garden, house and animals. We expected just basic keeping things in order but they gave so much more than that! From netting off the peas, to cutting hedges to making a new sign for the house name and so much more, as well as a lovely meal on the night we returned and the fruit bowl left full. Anne and Roy are a lovely couple who were flexible when our circumstances changed. We decided to take our dog away with us as she had improved enough after an op but Anne and Roy came to stay while we were away and looked after our house brilliantly, I'm confident that our dog would have been cared for beautifully had we left her at home. We certainly would recommend Anne and Roy as housesitters.

Anne and Roy were our dream sitters! A friendly and reliable couple who were so adaptable and willing to be available at short notice for our trip to stay with our daughter once her baby arrived and to flex the time they stayed according to our needs. We had a brief overlap to enable them to 'escape' before their town went into lockdown and to show them the ropes. They did a great job of looking after our teen-pup, moody cat and overgrown garden.
