My husband and I travel to the UK frequently.....Although we are based in Australia, we find the summers here in Melbourne too warm for us and we therefore enjoy travelling to the UK between November and March to escape the heat.

We prefer more rural English/Welsh locations within a short drive to a larger market town.

We love all animals (especially cats and dogs). We had two beautiful cats until recently. Fyodor was a beloved male Burmese and Ophelia was a beloved female Russian Blue.

Unfortunately Fyodor was euthanised in September 2017 after renal failure and diabetes. Shortly after this event, Ophelia was also euthanised as a result of renal failure and a loss of bladder control. We believe that Ophelia lost her will to live once Fyodor had passed as the two of them were inseparable for over 12 years.

We miss our beautiful cats and are looking forward to proving lots of love and attention to any other animal whose family may be away over the holiday period.

No rating Rose and John are two of the nicest people we've ever met and we still keep in touch. Their communication prior to and during the sit was exemplary. They quite obviously genuinely loved our cat Charlie and would send us charming little stories and photos about him. Our house was left in an immaculate state and Charlie was a very happy boy. If we could have Rose and John for every house sit we absolutely would.
