CoupleKatherine grew up on cattle and sheep stations in northwest Queensland. Had dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, calves, kangaroos and loves horses and riding. Matt grew up on a farm in northwest New South Whales running cattle a large piggery and growing wheat.

We are both non-smokers, tidy and dependable. We have been house sitting in Australia over the last 12 months and hope to do the same while traveling through The UK May-No 2024. We wish to experience places as locals do, not as tourists.
Married 30 years, Katherine worked in Aged Care and enjoys reading, crafts, and going on walks; Matt has 36 years in the Australian Army, volunteers as a St John Ambulance First Responder, and likes to paddle board and bush walk when he can.
We both have country backgrounds, experienced with livestock, and a variety of family pets.

Matt and Kath are the perfect house sitters. Very friendly and easy to get on with.
My cows (and the 2 new calves) the ducks and the cat were looked after so well, They are very resourceful and are happy and ready to take on anything that might occur if anything out of the ordinary happened. Fortunately nothing did!
They left the house very clean and tidy, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a sitter.

Kath and Matt cared for our farm so we could get away to see family for 10 days before Christmas. We were so grateful. From the first meet and greet they presented as confident and competent. We have 12 horses 4 dogs 2 cats, a breeding herd of cows, 2 bulls, chooks and a goose. All were safe healthy and well fed on our return. Kath and Matt were ideal house-sitters. They were friendly, responsible, agreeable and most importantly very capable. In addition to the house, they looked after our cat, extensive flock of chickens, very large garden and orchard, as well as kept an eye on our property beyond the farm paddock, including cattle. We highly recommend them to all house and small property owners, and wish them all the best in their future travels.
Matt and Katherine were the perfect house sitters, They were very easy to get along with, cared for our cats well, and our house was in perfect clean condition when we returned.
