***FULLY BOOKED FOR THE DURATION OF OUR VISIT***

Hi! We are 2 healthy, mature, honest, animal loving Aussies currently touring your beautiful country. We are non-smokers and would treat your home with the utmost respect. We have our own transport and would be privileged to look after your animals and property.
I am a retired cardiac sonographer (heart ultrasound) and Richard is a retired solicitor and real estate agent and is captain of our local rural fire brigade, which means he has passed a police check.
We would prefer village or rural sits, but will consider anything except large cities.
While we are new as sitters we are familiar with the process as we usually have sitters at our house when we go away. I will include a few of the reviews that have been left for us on our place.
At home in the northern rivers of NSW we live off grid on 22 acres. Richard is very familiar with lawn mowers and whipper snippers. We run a few cows, 2 sheep (woolly lawn mowers in the house yard) and about 10 chooks. We have a lovely DS tabby cat, a cockatiel and some gold fish. Sadly we lost our beautiful 10 year old staffy to cancer last year and because we were planning an extended holiday we decided to wait till we got home to get another rescue dog. My daughter has a pet snake and whilst we’ve never looked after a tarantula we’d be prepared to give it a go! So basically we will love and look after all animals.
Our plan is to house sit around the UK in various locations, using your home as a base to explore the surrounding area. We are security conscious and under no circumstance would we be absent over night, but plan to be out and about for up to 5 hours during the day after seeing to the needs of your pets.

Maggie and Richard were delightful house sitters. Their communication was excellent and the dogs just loved them. They are efficient in their travelling and even planned things so they had washed the sheets through and left us a delicious curry so we could relax after we got home. We much enjoyed meeting them and hope that they enjoyed their stay here in spite of poor weather.

Just the best. Great communication before and during the stay, really loved on the dogs, were super flexible and helpful when people needed to visit the house when we were away, nothing was too much trouble and then cooked food for our return and left it in the fridge - which was not only beyond thoughtful but also delicious! Kind, warm, generous, easy-going. Highly recommend.

ANDY (Bovey Tracey England, Jul 2024 - 1 week 4 nights)
Maggie & Richard were the perfect house sitters. They texted every other day to keep us posted on our animals, as it was our first time not only having house sitters but leaving our animals with other people we were quite nervous but they put us at ease. Daily dog walks and cat cuddles were always assured. They kept our house so neat and tidy and were the perfect house sitters. Would recommend them every time!
