43, Environmental educator
Originally from Hong Kong, I am a remote worker in the environmental/ animal welfare field. I have served a number of non-profits such as the Jane Goodall Institute over the past two decades. Helping animals and nature is my lifetime vocation.
Apart from house-sitting, I have done lots of volunteering and work exchanges, many of which included house-minding and caring for animals. One of my gigs was volunteering as a full-time ranger for a season at Grand Canyon National Park (USA) where I presented critter talks and geo walks. I have also volunteered at wildlife sanctuaries "Inti Wara Yassi" and "Save the Wild Chinchillas" in South America.
I started doing house-sits in 2023 and so far have done it in Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Switzerland and the UK, looking after dogs, cats and rabbits. I also have experience caring for goats, chicken and wild animals such as monkeys, macaws and toucans.
I treat other people's pets and homes as my own, as I'm very grateful for the trust that house/ pet owners put in me. Being a health-conscious and eco-conscious individual, I intend to keep your pet(s) healthy and happy. I try my best to reduce waste and energy use while keeping everything neat and clean. I'm happy to do gardening if needed as I enjoy physical labour and I'm very fit.
