I am English and use to live in London but I now live just outside of Melbourne with my husband. We have about an acre of land and gorgeous garden - our 2 children (early 20’s) have left home to study. Up until last year we had a much, much loved elderly rescue dog so I am in the habit of doing a really good walk each day and would be delighted to walk your dog/s as required. I also grew up with cats and love them. I have used the other house sitting website and posted a couple of my reviews in the photos as I’m new to using this site. I’m happy to provide contact details of further referees - I have done MANY housesits all around the world (UK, Australia, Italy, France, South Africa) in my 58yrs! I’m completely reliable, honest and down to earth and having had sitters look after our little dog (with health issues who needed daily medication) I totally understand how important it is to feel you’re handing over your beloved pet in your home to someone you can trust. I guarantee I’d leave your house immaculate for when you return. I recently housesat for 3 houses in Fremantle (Western Australia) in the same street as each pet owner recommended me to their neighbour! I will also happily send you photos of your pet and updates as regularly as you’d like me to. I would treat them as my own. I’m very up for a cuddle with either dogs or cats. I’m also very use to watering the garden and house plants - a task that is often needed where I live. If feasible and I am in the UK I’m happy to come and meet you and your pet prior once the sit has been confirmed or do a FaceTime video call.
