Hello! We are a Scottish couple who have recently returned to the UK after taking a year out in Australia. During this year away we housesat in Australia from October-July and looked after over 15 homes. We are two recently graduated masters students who are currently looking for grad jobs. We have both grown up with pets including cats and dogs, and are comfortable looking after a variety of animals, but are particularly comfortable with cats and dogs. I (Jasmin) have looked after my parent's anxious rescue dog many times so I am good with dogs that have separation anxiety. She goes on three walks a day so I am very used to dogs that need lots of walks/ball time!
We are currently based in Glasgow. We are open to any kind of sit but we are particularly keen for mid to long term sits. We are flexible with location, we would ideally like to be near a bus stop/train line but aside from that we have no preference! We are looking into buying a car but have not purchased one yet so would ideally like to be able to reach your home by public transport.
We are both very responsible and mature individuals who do not smoke or vape, and do not party either. We're very relaxed and don't drink much either, aside from a glass of wine with dinner. We are very clean and will leave your house exactly how you left it. We love to spend our days on walks and in nature so we are fit and able to keep up with energetic dogs. We have been bringing the dogs we've been looking after on hikes with us and we've been loving exploring new places with them. We have been really enjoying taking pets on different adventures during our time with them, and treat them as our own. We are hoping to get our own pets soon because of the brilliant time we've had with housesitting. We love cooking, film nights and card games so we tend to spend evenings in. We are both very relaxed and would love nothing more than to spend lots of time cuddling and looking after your pets. Happy to do any watering/gardening if needed too. Jasmine and Alexander were great, they looked after my pets very well and kept in contact while I was away. I would highly recommend them and would love to use them again.
We were very happy with Jasmine and Alexander.
The cats were well cared for and the house was left extremely clean and tidy. Chantilly is slow to warm to strangers but by the end of the sit she was sitting close by and feeling comfortable and confident.
Roman was following them around and he can be a bit bossy and demanding but it all went well.

Jasmin and Alexander were excellent House and pet sitters. While we were away, We received Regular updates about the well-being and activities of our Dog. They took her on long walks & to her favourite place in the world, the beach.. so I know she had the best time. When we returned, our house was lovely & clean.
I would highly recommend Jasmin & Alexander to anyone looking for a house & pet sitter next time they are going away.

We really can't rate Jasmin and Alexander highly enough. Mango got sick just a couple of days before the sit and we weren't sure about going ahead with our trip. J&A were really flexible and understanding, and when we did go ahead as planned, gave us lots of really comprehensive updates that gave us so much peace of mind. They took excellent care of Mango, and left the house spotless. We would have them back in a heartbeat!
Jasmin and Aleš were the most reliable and lovely Housesitters. We felt so comfortable knowing our goldens were in the absolute best care, the dogs had such a fun time with them on walks and adventures. Communication was incredible throughout and they were so accommodating helping us when we needed to be away an extra week. Jasmin and Alex stayed with our pets for 10 days and the pets were very content with them. You could see in the photos that they were at ease. I would recommend them if you are looking for a sitter
This was my first time using Aussie Housesitters and I couldn’t have found better housesitters to look after the pets. Jasmin and Alex were reliable, friendly and easy going and excellent to communicate with. They gave our pets so much attention, you can tell that they have a real affection for animals. The house was well looked after. I would highly recommend Jasmin and Alex as housesitters. A lovely couple.
Jasmin and Ales are very respectful and considerate house sitters. They were able to accomodate our cat’s feeding, and our plants’ watering routine with ease, left our house tidy, and kept in touch with thoughtful and timely communication. I have no hesitation in recommending them wholeheartedly to other homeowners.
You know the trepidation you have when leaving your pets and home in care of someone else...You need not have those feelings if you engage Jasmin & Alex to sit for you. Couldn't ask for better sitters with care for our pugs and great communication. House was left how we left and no issues whatsoever. 5 *s
Jasmin and Alexander were amazing. Great communication from the very beginning, always keeping us up to date with plans, arrival and departure. Our dogs loved them and our home was spotless on our return. Would absolutely recommend.
Jasmin and Alexander were really great. They communicated clearly, and I had 100% confidence in their ability to look after my cat. They left the house neat and tidy so it was an absolute pleasure to arrive home and find everything in order and Dexter (my cat) very chill. Jasmin even went above and beyond and left some flowers as a 'welcome home' touch which I did not expect, but shows just how thoughtful she is.
