Recovering US lawyer who believes there is no such thing as "too many cats."

All right, fine, maybe *that's* too many. But only just.

About me: I'm a 46 yo US-military-veteran-turned-lawyer-turned-recovering-lawyer, currently looking for a quiet place that I can keep clean, warm, and well-maintained. Animal companions to care for and love are a plus!

A 10+ year military veteran, I have standards for cleanliness and order far beyond most civilians. I neither smoke nor drink, keep my networks clean, do not use fragrances. I work and study from home, so am available for pets who need special care and more attention than others. Elder animals have a special place in my heart. I am comfortable keeping a vegan, kosher, or halal kitchen for the duration of a sit should your household require.

Animal care experience: I can successfully give most cats a pill without ending up noticeably bleeding. I'm good with problem animals, including dogs with fear-related aggression and resource guarding behaviors. I have extensive experience with working dogs. I have years of farmhand experience caring for horses, goats, chickens, and cows in addition to daily operations management.

My profile pictures include my now-passed-on cat, Kiska, who lived her whole 17 years with me and was my best friend. Also pictured is my now-passed-on dog, Luci, a former security dog who spent her retirement being taunted relentlessly by Kiska and accepting it with a great deal more patience than Kiska probably deserved.

I can find myself at home anywhere from Westminster to a sheep farm, but prefer quiet spaces away from the hubbub with tea and a good book.
