Quiet Dog Lover

Marina: 24, Student

Hi there! My name is Marina, and I’m a 24 year old female student from central Canada. I’ve just finished my undergraduate degree and I’m taking some time off to travel and research graduate school options in the next year. I fell in love with the history, people and nature in the UK when I studied abroad in Lancashire in 2019, and I have always wanted to return to spend further time there. I am an animal lover, particularly dogs and cats, and grew up with a rambunctious Jack Russell Terrier whom I miss dearly. My family adopted another dog in 2020, Oscar, a mixed breed whose attitude, sweetness and hilarity never ends. I fully understand the trust and hesitation entailed in leaving your home and/or furry family with someone while you are away (my family often does so as well in Canada), and I would make sure to provide the utmost care, love and diligence to any home or pet-sitting situation. I have previously house, pet and babysat since I was a teenager, and I consider myself to be a very quiet, responsible, detail-oriented and friendly person. What a lovely girl! She is very obviously an animal lover and I could see that my beautiful dogs had been well cared for and most importantly loved while we were away. In fact my neighbours commented that she was often out walking them which they would have loved. Marina immediately communicated to me any concerns she had about my pets and regularly sent me photos. She even carved them a Yorkie Pumpkin for Halloween. She certainly deserves a 5 star rating.
