I am a semi retired academic, working and living in France.
I have always had pets up until working abroad made it difficult to do so. I therefore would enjoy the company of your pet (in France the term 'animal companion' is used which I think is particularly apt).
House sitting is a perfect arrangement for me. I wish to come to the UK from time to time in order to continue my voluntary work with a local cricket club (coach and committee member) which is a great passion of mine. I have sound experience of house sitting and pet care which I have done a number of times for friends and acquaintances, with the stays varying from 2 to 6 weeks.
