We are a friendly, responsible couple, who both grew up in homes with cats, and other pets. We are happy to look after several cats. Richard also has experience of looking after poultry. We are sorry, but we do not do dog sits. We both held DBS clearance in our working lives. We have been pet owners ourselves for many years, most recently of Zephy - a mad Selkirk Rex, and Tiva- a grumpy ginger girl, although we have no pets at present. We like meeting new pets and enjoy travelling across the UK. We have our own transport. We are non-smokers.
We have Public Liability Insurance which covers us whilst house sitting.
NB We don’t have a lot of reviews because one of our first clients now regularly books us for a number of weeks each year.
What a wonderful couple. So easy to get on with and so caring of someone else's property and pets. All worries I had about leaving our cats disappeared and it was so reassuring to know that they were in the most capable hands. Thank you both so very, very much.
I am full of praise for my first House Sitters experience due to Alison and Richard being such warm and generous people who looked after my two cats and quirky cottage expertly. The cats were relaxed and friendly when they first met Alison and Richard which they aren’t with everybody and are probably looking forward to being looked after by them again!
Alison and Richard are a delightful couple who looked after our cottage and animals so well. The place was clean and tidy when we returned; it looked as thought the cleaning fairies had been employed !! William the cat was well fed and watered, and we think he missed his new uncle and aunt who gave him regular cuddles. We cannot recommend them highly enough. Equally, the chickens had been cleaned out and looked very healthy on our return. The only problem is.....will we be able to coerce them ... MORE
Richard and Alison were wonderful housesitters - very self contained and friendly. We had a couple of phone conversations beforehand, which were very helpful and Alison had my number so she could text when we were away if she needed to, though in fact they just got on with it! Excellent communication about arriving/departure. House was in a beautiful state when we returned, cleaner than we left it. Cats and chickens very happy indeed. Thank you!
Richard and Alison were lovely sitters and looked after our poultry very well. They communicated well before the sit and nothing was too much trouble. When they left, everything was clean, neat and tidy. We would be delighted to use them again.
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
