I am a fit, active, experienced house/pet sitter with my own car, I love to travel so distance is no problem and I like to meet new people, I have two grown up children, two beautiful Grandson's and 2 gorgeous Grandaughter's
I am a Pebble artist, where I make various pictures using pebbles and driftwood, I sell online and in a gallery in Norfolk. I have a very good sense of humour, I'm very reliable, honest and easy going, I love to read, knit, do puzzles, meet new people, gardening, listening to classical music and my spotify playlists, I also love to meet up with my family and friends, I've house and pet sat for over 7 years now through House sitters and I thoroughly enjoy it, I also sit for other people through word of mouth via friends, I've made some long term friends and have regular sits throughout the year that I do, I like the variety of the houses, areas and the different pets, all with their unique individuality, I enjoy looking after the garden, and keeping the house tip top, (I was a Housekeeper for Holiday properties in another life, so know the importance of keeping a house clean and well looked after) I like to explore new areas and I'm conscious of respecting other peoples belongings and properties..
This site is the absolute best and was there for us during the pandemic, absolute Kudos to them for that

Sonia is an absolute treasure. ⭐
She looked after my cat (Suzie) and my bearded dragon (Pancake) for two weeks. She offered to visit us before the confirmed dates and my pets were already very comfortable around her. Feeding reptiles can be a challenge 😅, but she got on well with feeding Pancake with live insects and followed all the instructions I left her. Sonia was brilliant! Really relaxed and professional. She took everything in her stride, including feeding the tree frog live crickets…. Everything was immaculate when we got home and she even washed the sheets! Thanks so much Sonia, looking forward to lots more house sits I hope!!
Sonia was our first experience of using a house & pet sitter, and the process went like a dream.
Sonia came to meet our 2 dogs and ourselves a few weeks before our holiday, which was reassuring. The dogs liked her, and were happy and relaxed in her company.
Sonia looked after the dogs well, including giving both the different medications that they require.
We came home to a very clean, cared for home and to 2 happy dogs, what more could we ask for?

First time I have used this service and I was so lucky to gain Sonia to sit for us. She was reliable, came first to visit us and the cats. She kept the house immaculate and put my bins out and watered my plants. She communicated well and sent me photos of my cats. She obviously bonded with them as they looked content and settled. I would highly recommend Sonia to anyone needing a reliable sitter.
We are so pleased and lucky to have found Sonia to be our sitter while we were away. We spent the longest we ever have away from our cats (3 weeks), but our minds were at complete ease knowing Sonia was there with them.
She kept in regular contact with us to let us know how they were which was very reassuring and sent us lots of pictures which made it evident how comfortable and happy they were in her company.

Sonia was a joy. She looked after Minkie with such care, I think Minkie is still missing her. Everything in the house was immaculate when we arrived home and Sonia had even washed sheets and made the bed, so kind. It was great to be able to meet up before. I would not hesitate to recommend Sonia she was a dream.
What a great first experience with having a House sitter. Sonia was excellent from the first enquiry to the actual sit. Communication was clear and meeting up prior to the sit was a great bonus. I felt completely at ease with her and didn’t hesitate to entrust my home and my very large pampered ginger boy George into her care. I got regular updates and pics whilst i was away. This is our first time with Housesitters UK and Sonia was a brilliant housesitter! We were so lucky to have a worry free break when Sonia came to look after our home. The cats were calm and happy, the ducks and hen likewise and all our plants watered wonderfully well. What a great service.

Sonia was superb. We've had a house sitter once before but each sit is different. She was super relaxed which helped us feel relaxed about leaving our cat with her. The house was immaculate and we came home to a very happy catty! Would highly recommend :)
Sonia coped brilliantly with our (not very well trained) 6 month old puppy and looked after our house while we were away. I would definitely recommend her.

We felt confident leaving Sonia in charge while we went away and were not disappointed. All the animals were very well cared for and we came home to a clean and tidy house. Even the spare bed had been washed and re-made which saved extra washing after our holiday! We would thoroughly recommend Sonia - we had excellent communication and she is friendly, relaxed and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you!
Sonia was a joy to have look after our home and pets. She has a wonderful personality and a highly infectios giggle. Our cats took to her immediately. We returned to a home cleaned from top to bottom and the bed remade. She is welcome here anytime and we cannot recommend her highly enough.
Linda and I felt fortunate to have Sonia housesit our two boy cats. They soon very obviously felt at home with Sonia, which gave us peace of mind while away on hols.
