I have done numerous successful house sits and house swaps over the years with either my husband Ross or my daughter Grace.
We love ensuring your home is cared for like our own would be, and making sure your pet is happy and healthy for your return. We have owned our own home for over 35 years and have had various pets over that time. I am English and Ross is Australian, so we go between each country often.
We love travel and challenges and enjoy an active and adventurous life, always looking for new experiences.
We are very reliable, careful, considerate and love caring for a home, no task is too much as we enjoy cleaning and making a house a home.
We have completed 9 international house exchanges and have references available as to reliability and the the overall success of these exchanges. We are non-smokers and nondrinkers, quiet living and hold current British driver's license, and I hold a recently updated clear DBS check.
Clare and Ross stayed at our place for 2.5 weeks and looked after our 3 year old cavoodle. After meeting them for the first time we trusted them completely - they were great with communication, giving us lots of photos and updates. They took fantastic care of our house and plants. We would definitely recommend them and would have them back in a heartbeat!
We were very fortunate to have Clare and Ross housesit for us for a week and look after our spoodle. We came back to a sparkling clean house and a very happy dog, who looked very well cared for and loved in our absence (and who was potentially just a little disappointed to have us home again). Clare and Grace were fabulous. They really looked after Alfie, despite some issues around his behaviour which we had fully warned them about. We spent quite a bit of time on arrival introducing them to Alfie and making sure he was comfortable with them. They handled everything extremely well. YOUR RESPONSE: Clare was excellent. We met twice before the house sit so we could get to know each other and for me to show Clare all that was necessary for my cats well being. She did an excellent job, the house was well cared for and my cat was very relaxed and happy. Clare even sent me regular photographs of him enjoying himself which put my mind at rest for a relaxing holiday. I wouldn't hesitate to have her house sitting again in the future.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
