Property Manager

Professional property manager with over 20 years experience caring for properties. Australian living permanently in the UK for over 15 years.

My experience is wide and varied, having looked after a whale watching lodge, national trust house, manor houses/estates and all sorts of private homes, many with animals - all over the world. I have also worked with the well renowned company Animal Aunts for a number of years.

Essentially, I miss having animals around, as I have always had them in my life. I have bred cats, trained dogs and cared for many different types of animals including parrots, amphibians, livestock and even reptiles! While it is not essential, it is always great to have a sit with an animal or two.

Of course the pandemic had affected house sitting around the world but I got lucky and have been looking after a vacant castle (yes, a castle!) in the very North of England since 2020. Now that we are back to normal in the UK, the castle has again taken on a new business, so my caretaking work there has now ended so I am now looking again for my next long term position.

I am now looking for a long term sit of a minimum of 12 months or longer. I work remotely from home managing very busy doctor's practices in Harley Street but I should also be available for any additional duties or assistance you may require and am flexible to meet the needs of the property.

This was our first experience of having a house sitter and we couldn't have picked a better person to look after things while we were away for three months. Kirsty was so helpful and accommodating in every respect. She kept us informed about what was going on, sending pictures when needed. She arranged for various maintenance tasks to be carried out in our absence, and even got quotes to replace a fence after high winds brought it down. Kirsty did a wonderful job house sitting for us over the summer. She was easy going right from the start and took everything in her stride. I immediately felt relaxed and at ease to be leaving my beloved house and pets with her and she did not let me down. Kirsty came to look after our cats for a week. She was lovely. We got an instant liking for her. She kept in touch with us with texts and photos. The cats both responded well to her too. On returning the house was spotless and my garden well watered. Kirsty also sorted out a huge problem for us with ease. Which took a load of our minds whilst being away. Thank you Kirsty. Would definitely recommend her.

Kirsty helped us out at such short notice and straight away put my mind at ease. Such a lovely, kind and genuine person, we were happy leave our fluffy babies in her care. On our return all was well and the babies seemed very content and well cared for. Fabulous experience with Kirsty, she was very professional in every aspect of her sit. The dogs and cat where very laid back on our return home (I don't think they missed us)!! Bungalow was very clean and tidy on our return. Highly recommend

Kirsty left our house and pet beautifully cared for. She is lovely and super friendly. Dolly didn't even notice we were gone. Dolly is 21 and has a few health problems but Kirsty managed all her health issues so we came back to meet our shinny, purry, youthful Dolly. Thank you Kirsty, from all of us and please come back.

Kirsty house-sat our timid cat while we away in Canada for 7 weeks. She did a wonderful job looking after the cat, including keeping her to her diet (!) We came home to a very relaxed cat, and Kirsty's property management experience came in good stead in helping us deal with a busted boiler situation while we were away. She is cheerful and easy-going and I believe would competently handle any situation that might arise with her "Aussie" good humour.
