We are a responsible, non=smoking, honest, active and caring retired couple who live in NZ during the summer but now usually travel abroad during our winter. I am originally from Oldham, Lancashire but have lived in New Zealand for over 40 years and married to Pete, a New Zealander. Pre Covid we traveled around in our motorhome for 7 years in Australia and have many excellent references from pet/house sits in that country and in 2023 we did a further four sits in different locations around England. (All references can be viewed from this site.) We are very keen to do more house sits in England during the summer of 2025 preferably close to a lawn bowling club if possible! We enjoy walking and biking but do also like to relax in the evening either watching TV or reading. Pete loves to garden and I enjoy keeping a tidy and clean house which works well for us both. We have looked after dogs, cats, birds, chickens, turtles and even sheep! We guarantee that we would look after your pets and home as if they were our own. (Photo of our own home attached). This was the first time using house sitters and we were so lucky to have come across Suzanne and Peter. They were so friendly, easy to chat too and so trustworthy. While we were away they kept in touch, and they even helped us out with another night as I got the booking dates wrong. When we arrived home the house was spotless and we had one happy and settled doggie. I would recommend them to anyone, they would be lucky to have them. They are welcome here anytime.

Susan and Peter did a great job house/pet sitting for us. We felt very comfortable leaving them to look after our cat poppy. They provided us with just the right amount of communication whilst we were away for our wedding and honeymoon, so that we could relax and enjoy our time away knowing that she was in safe hands.

We loved having Suzanne and Peter look after our property, large gardens and our dog Lulu. Everything was really well taken care of we returned to a very tidy home and the garden was looking great (it was the start of the growing season) and the large lawn area mowed and tidy and a very happy Lulu. Also, we had travel plans change and had to extend last minute and Suzanne and Peter accommodated this for us and changed their plans to stay a bit longer which we greatly appreciated. Would not ... I found Peter & Suzanne a very social & out going couple , they kept the house tidy cleaned up the yard " 6 acres " and paid attention to our family dog , ageing cat and did their daily chores with our chooks.
This was a unique house sit with me working away weekly therefore sharing the house occasionlly which I found Peter & Suzanne easy to get along with.
