Myriam & Taher

We are Myriam and Taher, a non-smoking couple. He works in IT and she works as a teacher, currently taking a sabbatical. We are resourceful, calm, and trustworthy people. We really enjoy slow traveling, being around animals, and nature. Our hobbies include gardening, food, reading, dancing (her), technology (him) walks, and sustainability. We take our health very seriously and like to keep fit (physically and mentally) by doing exercise regularly (Yoga, Pilates, strength, mindfulness, etc).

We both grew up with pets at home. We had dogs, cats, turtles, and fish. We love giving them cuddles and keeping them clean, well-fed, safe, and happy. Myriam also experienced home-exchange with her family since she was a teenager, having had the opportunity to visit many countries. Taher lived in many cities and countries during his childhood and had the chance to learn different languages. As adults, we continue finding alternative ways to travel and visit different places. House-sitting is an incredible way to get to know places, locals, and cultures.

We would like to spend as much time as possible combining 2 of our passions: slow travel and animals. We absolutely love their company. We are very respectful of other people's properties and we are a very clean, tidy, and considerate couple. We would look after your home and pets as if they were our own. When we travel, we prefer homes to hotels and like to stay in one place and meet and interact with locals. We love walking/hiking, but also really enjoy spending time indoors.
We're currently very keen to spend some time in London again.
