I am 61 years young, Non smoker, retired Professional person, who enjoys the great outdoors. I love leisurely walks & exploring new places, especially interested in historical sights.
I love all animals having lived with dogs all my life (mostly rescued ones), cats, hamsters & rabbits. .I have been looking after Poppy, my late father's rescue Jack Russell until last year, having lost my 17 year old Westie, Purdy, previously.
I am looking to find like minded owners, who adore their pets as part of the family and can not bear the thought of uprooting them into unknown kennel facilities whilst they are away from home.
My usual additional questions for dog owners are can I take them in my car for walks (so we can explore together), if they are ok with other dogs we may come across on our walks and are they traffic shy. For cats it is how often do you get "little presents" left for you. Other than that I am fully compliant with what the owners request during my stay.
