Hi! I'm Jill, an
eperienced, reliable, trustworthy and friendly animal-lover based in Yorkshire and happy to consider travel to anywhere in the UK.
I have many years of pet ownership as well as caring for pets for others and house sitting. I've had a number of my own dogs in the past and at one time 9 rescue battery hens and a rescued terrier. Bliss! I'm the person who can't walk past you without asking your pet's name and if I can say hello !
I've had my own gardens and a large allotment in the past, so am also adept at plant tending, deadheading, watering, feeding, greenhouse care etc. I currently live in a flat, so miss my gardening and as I'm not able to keep a pet, doing pet and house sitting works well for me.
References are available from people who I have done pet and house sits for in the past. I'm also on a well known dog walking site and can refer you to references on there if you needed.
I love the outdoors and nature, wet dog walks, muddy fields, parks, beaches, rain, cuddles, licks, sniffs, throw and catch, cat care. Any animal really! So far, Ive sat with dogs cats, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs and a parrot. I love all creatures. Im happy to look after gardens, greenhouses or veg plots too, if needed.
Im a driver and non-smoker.
I will be completely respectful of your home and beloveds. I pride myself on leaving someone's home clean and tidy and welcoming for you to come home to.

Jill’s communication was good from pre- sit through to her return home. She was keen on establishing a good relationship with us and the dogs. She took good care of them and our home enabling us to have a relaxed holiday. As our first dog sit for our two young sprocker lads we were nervous but we did not need to have been. Jill is a trustworthy, capable, and friendly person- we are very pleased she agreed to look after the boys and our home.
This is the 2nd time Jill has looked after milo in the space of 4 weeks, she is very attentive with him, and they are building a great bond together, my house is always sparkling clean when I get home. Already got Jill booked in for 2 sits for 2025.

Jill was an amazing house sitter, with regular communication and responsiveness from word go.
She looked after both dogs and parrot with great care and attention to detail, taking them on lovely walks and outings and treating them as her own.
Nothing was too much trouble, house was immaculate on our return and we have already discussed and confirmed future sit dates with her as we are so happy with her Housesitting our pets. Thanks Jill see you soon 👍

Jill was excellent to communicate with - and the dogs loved her. She kept in good touch whilst I was away and clearly the dogs were happy and their routine was closely followed. I felt confident all was well and came back to super tidy house and dogs that had been very well looked after. They probably miss all her attention!!! I would be delighted if she could return in the future.
Jill has now house sat for us several times and all i can say is that she is fabulous. Our dog Gracie loves her being around and Jill takes her on a couple of long walks every day including going to dog friendly cafes and pubs. She takes great care of the house and we could not recommend her more highly.

Feel so at ease especially as this was the first time we’d had anyone pet sit milo. The house was clean and tidy when we got home too! We will certainly be using Jill again for future sits.
Jill is a very kind and trusting lady. She was amazing with my boxer dog Mabel. She kept me up-to-date with what they we're up to and followed the notes I left for Mabel very thoroughly.
