  • I have house sat an old farm house with 200 sheep which I checked morning and evenings, freeing the old trapped sheep! Also with 2 donkeys, 2 peacocks and a cat!

I have begun house sitting over the past few years and I love it. I now have the time to travel, I enjoy the adventure of living in different parts of the country and the sense of freedom it brings. I’m increasingly attracted to the simple things in life. My attention to detail from my professional discipline works well with the practicalities of maintaining other peoples homes and I enjoy connecting with new animal friends.
I am a 60 year old photographer and can work from any location. I am looking to explore living closer to nature/the countryside.

My work is predominantly in Bristol when I get a commission so it would be good to be within commuter distance.

I am reliable, straight forward, trustworthy, diligent and easy going.
I love the simplicity, directness and affection of animals and enjoy their uncomplicated company.

My interests include: reading, nature, walking, watching movies, cooking, philosophy.

Mark and Athene were absolutely perfect! They looked after our house, cat and plants beautifully and we came back to an immaculate house, which was very nice. We would definitely ask them to house sit for us again and would recommend them unreservedly.

Mark and his partner Athene looked after our house and our dog, cats, and guinea pigs for two weeks while we were on holiday. They were wonderful house sitters - caring and conscientious. They tuned in closely to our animals' personalities and needs, sent regular updates and photos, and looked after them so well. We arrived home to a spotless house and thriving garden.
