I’m Mia, 22 and an avid animal lover!

I got into housesitting whilst on my travels in Australia* (references in my photos as I’m unable to link my accounts) I found it’s a wonderful way to experience new places and all with the added joy of looking after furry, feathery and aquatic friends. I’d like to Housesit in the UK as a way to explore my local area and the surrounds in between work. I have a car and travel for work so more than happy to travel for a sit :)

At home with my Mum we currently have 4 cats so I guess you could say it’s where I specialise, but I’ve always been around animals ever since I was small. Rabbits, dogs, fish and frogs. Also, hamsters, chickens and at one point a tarantula! I feel confident in saying that I’m well versed in the world of animals. Smaller animals are definitely my specialty but I have had experience in looking after horses and goats so I’m comfortable with them too.
I’m an active person so I’m happy with long/multiple walks a day.
I have experience with giving medicine and caring for animals with medical conditions and special requirements.
I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and happy to have them in my car.
I provide daily updates with pictures/videos on whatsapp to ensure you’re comfortable and at ease (plus who doesn’t enjoy a cute animal picture)

Lastly, the home is just as important as the pets. My aim is to leave your home as you left it, if not cleaner!
I also gained a bit of a green thumb over lockdown so if any garden work needs doing please let me know.
