Hello to those requiring pet & house sitters. I am Dimitri: a single male aged 46, born and raised in Birmingham, UK with my own property in the city. For over a decade I have made a living online from investing in financial markets, which I love and which gives me the freedom and flexibility to work / earn anywhere on earth with a WiFi connection. Having spent June - July 2022 in Spain house and pet sitting for a friend, it has given me the desire for more of the same experiences. I adore animals and whilst I do not have my own pet due to the small first floor property I own, I take two friends dogs to the local park for jogs weekly and am friends to the neighbours very fluffy cat who enjoys popping round for treats. Due to the nature of my work being online, I have a lot of flexibility for all potential sits, short and long. I consider myself a pleasant and quiet person with respect for others. I am happy spending time alone as I love to read and cook. I look forward to arranging some sits. References for my previous sits are available on my profile as attachments. Thanks for reading.

We wish anyone to have a Dimitri in their life; in fact, he should be cloned for anyone else to enjoy! Such a charming, witty and well-rounded pet/house-sitter: extremely reliable, trustworthy, accommodating, helpful and caring individual, with the most extraordinary sense of humour. Dimitri took great care of our Daisy, regularly sending us hilarious updates and giving reassurance. He was kind to water the lawns and the plant pots outside, when required. Dimitri did a grand job of winning the trust of Finn and Totoro (the scaredy cat) and dealt with our fish (and pond), sprawling house and garden. I would highly recommend him for his good communication and care of our property and pets.

Dimitri is a smart, friendly and personable young man whose profile interested me immediately as I have two young/middle aged somewhat retiring cats. He came across well the phone and so I had no hesitation in booking him there and then. He travelled by coach/train and I picked him up from the relevant coach/rail station. I was a little worried going on holiday for three weeks leaving my two and a half year old puppy, Cocoa, who had not been parted from me since he came as an eight week old. Dimitri was wonderful and kept me regularly updated with photos of Cocoa looking very happy and contented, not missing me at all. He left my home and Cocoa well looked after and I would highly recommend him.

Our 2 dogs and cat were well cared for during our 2 week holiday and we received texts and photos whilst we were away. Good communication before the trip to run through what was required etc.

There was no communication with Dimitri during his stay due to the fact that I was away in a retreat with no access to any devices or internet so that is not his fault. Milly, my cat, appeared well looked after though. The flat was tidy when I came back but not as clean as I left it for him plus my gas and electricity bill is pretty high. Also, our agreement was for Dimitri to stay at mine until Sunday 16th April but he left the day before, which was disappointing

Dimitri is a great sitter and we highly recommend him. He took such good care of a little dog Lola, our fish and house. His communication before and during the sit was perfect and sent us pictures and videos of our happy dog. He has a good knowledge of dogs and is experienced which instantly put us at ease as we have a crazy Jack Russell.

Dimitri did a great job pet and housesitting for us for 3 weeks. We came home to very happy pets and a lovely, clean house and throughout our time away he sent very cute and comedic updates. We'd happily have Dimitri housesit again.

Dimitri is a wonderful house and cat sitter who I would happily recommend to anyone. On my return my cats are happy and slightly fatter, house was immaculate, communication was thoughtful and kind. He fed the garden birds and squirrels and even left me some food to come home to. Lovely man, trustworthy and reliable. I'm a big fan!! :)

Apart from myself and my husband, Dimitri is the only other human being that my cat built an instantaneous connection with! They became best buddies in no time. Dimitri sent us daily updates and photos of their bromance so we highly recommend him!

Dimitri was a real joy to work with. His communication with me before, during and on the last day of the sit was excellent. He is a pleasure to talk to and I love the efforts he took to really bond with my precious kitties. I felt completely at ease having him at our house while we were away and I would highly recommend him to anyone. I just hope he's available for our next holiday!
