Hello,
I am Chris, retired and active .I miss the rambles, traveling and adventures I shared with my little staffie bitch of 15 years, whom I had to say goodbye to recently.
Looking forward to meeting some much loved pets and caring for them and their homes.
Have had rescue animals in the past and always had cats and dogs. Am quite happy in rural/remote locations having lived in cottages for many years.
Based in Ross on Wye, I drive and explore in my little old camper van, but also use a car with dog guard so can travel to you. Can offer references should you wish, but happy to have a chat on the mobile phone so you can get to know me and feel confident.
I respect that this is your home and beloved pets so it is important you are happy with me as a sitter.
Have cared for friends and family homes and pets in the past.
I am fit and healthy and have no health issues nor take any medication. Confident in my own company but preferably with furry company!
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter to look after the dogs, cats and house. The dogs were happy, the cats were content and the house was sparkling!
Christine’s communication was great both before and during the sit. We had regular updates of her adventures with the dogs and even returned to a fresh pint of milk AND a clean fridge.
We’d love for Christine to return. Five shiny stars!

This was my first time ever having someone stay in my home and to look after my dog Betty and I would 100% recommend Chris & Pete to anyone. I had daily updates with photos of all the adventures they had taken with Betty, which were lovely to see and my house has been well looked after and clean.
My dog is fed a raw diet and Chris was more than happy to adhere to the diet which really put my mind at rest.

Chris and her partner Pete were absolutely amazing with our dog, he was so spoilt he was sad to see them go! They looked after the house beautifully and were a pleasure to have in the house.
We cannot praise Christine highly enough.... She is a real gem.
Christine provided us with a friendly and very professional housesitting service which included looking after our dog, 2 cats, a tropical fish aquarium and a pond for 2 weeks.... We were kept up to date regarding our pets and doggy walks including photos.. On top of that, when we came home the house was tidier than when we left!! We definitely hope to see Christine again and have no hesitation in recommending this lovely lady...
We are so lucky to have found Christine! Her communication was wonderful, right down to a hand written letter arriving a few weeks before. She was attentive to Juniper, and sent me plenty of photos and updates whilst we were away which really put my mind at ease. Christine was unfazed by anything and we felt so comfortable leaving her at the helm whilst we were away. The house was so tidy when we got back and the bed was stripped which was very considerate. Just had Christine dog sit for us and can only say it was a pleasure for her to look after the dogs and house.
We came back to a spotless house and 2 happy dogs!

Christine was a joy to meet felt like we had known her a long time . She was lovely with our boys . Gave us almost daily updates which was lovely to see . Made for a very relaxing holiday. Our home was spotless when we came home .and Louie and Chester were very happy. Would have her back in a heartbeat lovely lady .
A complete and utter Superstar one in a million. Bea was the happiest most cared for dog one could wish for. I couldn’t thank Christine enough. Brilliant brilliant. Would have Christine back at the drop of a hat.
Christine was a godsend. She bonded with our pets immediately and they with her. Her time with them was short but full of pleasure and enjoyment by all accounts. Our chihuahua likes her road trips out! The house was nice, neat and tidy on our return. Communication about the sit beforehand and during the time was ideal. We would certainly recommend Christine and also welcome her back again in the future.
It was a joy to have Chris come and look after our dog , cats and home. She arrived early to get to know us and our pets snd is clearly a huge animal lover. We had great communication before and throughout our holiday meaning we could relax easily knowing everyone was ok snd being cared for. Arriving home, Chris had left everything spotless- including our wood burner glass (thank you!) and we were very grateful to arrive home to happy pets.
