I'm a country living retiree with many interests like the natural world and gardening but also architecture and art. I'm someone who is quiet and calm, spending time alone does not bother me. I'm someone who loves to learn something new and I have always loved travel. Housesitting gives me the opportunity to do many of the things I enjoy whilst doing something useful. I like caring for all sorts of homes, quirky ones included.
I like to explore new places, and find it's so different when you actually stay there as. I like to meet new people but mostly I love having the company of pets, even the aloof ones. I especially like cats with personality, well they all have but you know what I mean. I've also cared for fish toroises and chickens.
I've been a housekeeper in a retreat centre and cared for holiday cottages so have lots of experience of caring for homes too.
I also have a real love of gardening and houseplants.
I guess I'd say I love life. I've cared for all sorts of homes from small terraces to large country houses and can appreciate them all as 'home' for you and your pets.
