Hello,

I am Lara. Myself and my partner Alex have moved to the UK from Western Australia 2 years ago and love exploring the country on our weekends! We both absolutely love animals and have had pets our whole lives, so we thought what better way to see more of the UK than housesit.

We are a happy, relaxed and sensible couple who will be respectful of your home and treat your animals kindly. Alex was also previously a landscape architect, so loves to tend to gardens and can take good care of your plants.

We have experience housesitting on both this site and MindAHome, and can provide reviews, Air BnB reviews, character references and are more than happy to organise a Facetime/Zoom meeting so you can get a sense of what we're like!

Lara and Alex were excellent house sitters. They stayed for a week over Christmas with their friend Harriet (who was also great!) We were able to video call before the sit and communication prior to and during the sit was excellent - we received a daily notification of how our 3 dogs were doing. They were flexible with travel arrangements which was really appreciated. We returned to a very clean house and 3 very happy, healthy dogs. 2 of our dogs require daily medication and 2 of our dogs ... MORE

Lara and Alex were 5* house and petsitters, in fact if we could give them higher stars, then we would! They were amazing- Incredibly friendly, relaxed and reassuring, we went away for a weekend break knowing everything was in great hands. Lara and Alex left everything so clean and tidy, and even sorted the bedding out - (which they didn't need to do!). We were so grateful for all their help. Lara & Alex are fantastic pet & Housesitters. They cared for my 2 dogs and my cat for a week. They are both very warm and friendly and they love animals. They kept me up to date with photos and videos while I was gone. The house was clean and tidy when I returned home and all of the animals were happy. They also watered the garden. I don't hesitate to recommend them.
