Hi! I am a mid 60's not long retired, single female seeking local-ish sitting jobs please.
I have been doing this for 4 years now, and I really love looking after the different pets. I have repeat bookings every year, and have references (but on a different site. This is my first time on this site April 2024. I can give details for you to check out). I have a full DBS as I used to work for a Charity. I have looked after Dogs, Cats and Alpacas since doing house-sits.
Through the years I have had many pets, Cats, Guinea Pigs, a Dog, Goldfish and Rabbits. I only have my wonderful old cat left now, who is 19 years old.
I'm a clean & tidy person. I don't need much space. I do like to visit new places and explore. I live in a semi-rural area, so have no problem with remote, quiet areas.
As a home owner I have had House-sitters myself in the past, so I am aware of possible expectations. I know just how important it is to have someone responsible, trustworthy, totally reliable to care for your property, & pets in your absence. I am a healthy non-smoker, non-drinker & I drive.
As a Retiree, I am unable to continue house-sitting without requesting a return trip door to door mileage allowance @ 45p per mile, plus a daily expense allowance.
