As an empty nester, working remotely, I'm looking to travel more abroad and here in the UK. I'm great with animals and having an excuse to go for a walk is a welcome break from being behind the screen as I'm a podcaster. Karen came to sit for us happy and prepared to look after the house and our pets. She looked after everything (including our house plants) very well over the nearly three weeks that we were away. Everything and everyone survived and thrived. Karen, and her daughter Ella, house sat for us at a difficult time. We had to say goodbye to Woody, our jack russell 3 days before they arrived. Woody had lived with us for 18 years. Because Bella is ex-breeding, she had never been an only dog and was confused and nervous. Woody had always lead the way in greeting etc. We didn't know how she would be.
