Hello, I'm Claire. I did a variety of house-sits back in 2022, while working remotely. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of visiting new places, meeting new people and spending time with so many lovely pets. I am still working remotely this year (well, around 90% of the time) and therefore have the capacity over the next few months to house-sit.

Pet care
I have always loved animals and love being in their company. My experience covers horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and chickens - although I am more than happy to extend that range! My philosophy is that animals' needs always come first.

House and garden care
I'm clean, tidy, reliable, security-conscious and respectful of other people's possessions. Gardening is something I enjoy, therefore happy to tend to any areas if necessary.

A little more about me ...
I love being outdoors as much as possible whether walking, horse-riding or cycling. When indoors, I enjoy cooking and am an avid reader. I'm based in Buckinghamshire and have my own transport. The tortoiseshell in the photo is my cat, Poppy, who my parents kindly look after when I away.

Claire was a brilliant cat/ house sitter. Due to our early flights we were unable to meet in person but we had a couple of chats ahead of the sit to explain the house/ cat etc. she was very keen to learn all about Cracker and the house . While we were away she sent updates of Cracker. She stayed for two weeks and when we came home she had left the house spotless!! She knew we had guests coming the next day, so kindly put a bedsheet wash on. She went over and above keeping the house and cat ... MORE

It was our first time with House Sitters and we feel so lucky that we got Claire to come and sit for us. All the animals, 2 rabbits and our cat Daisy were all so happy and relaxed and well cared for when we got home, somehow they maybe even didn't realise we were away!
