We are Judy and Lester, a retired couple. Lester used to work in local government and Judy was a legal PA in London.

We are responsible, capable and experienced housesitters. Lester has DIY and gardening skills having maintained and improved our homes and gardens over many years.

We are very healthy and active, enjoy walking and love to have a dog for company.

We have been enjoying housesitting since January 2018 mostly looking after dogs and cats plus some kittens, a puppy, sometimes chickens and once a rabbit and some guinea pigs.

We are lifelong animal lovers. In childhood we both had cats and dogs and while we raised our own family, we had a wonderful dog, many hamsters, two rabbits, two guinea pigs, and a snail. Now our children are grown, we sometimes look after our daughter's beautiful house cat and our son's sweet little pug.

We are both non-smoking vegetarians.

We both drive and we own a car.

We will take loving care of your pets and we will keep your home spotlessly clean. We will also look after your houseplants and garden.

We will stay in touch with you whilst you are away and send you pictures of your pets if you want us to.

We can let you have references from our previous housesits.

Judy and Lester sat for us for 2 weeks at the end of July and this is the second time they've been kind enough to sit for us. Communication is via Judy and always fast and helpful including daily photo updates first thing every day of our cat, Charlie, giving us peace of mind. Judy and Lester are very kind and empathetic to animals and Charlie was very happy and relaxed on our return from holiday. Judy and Lester were great sitters. We had to find someone last minute and they were speedy in their communication. The cats were very happy on our return and they kept the house neat, clean and tidy. We would definitely recommend them and would happily have them back again. They went out of their way to come to us the day before we left so we could introduce them to the animals, and set our minds at rest as we were first time users of the site. She was very relaxed when we came home, she'd obviously been given a lot of love. Our house was spotless when we arrived home too! We'd welcome Judy and Lester to catsit again for sure.
