Hi
We are a recently retired couple (teacher and carpenter) who enjoy travelling, animals, nature and walking. We have recently returned from living in Australia where we did house/ pet sitting. (see linked reviews)
When our children were growing up we enjoyed the company of our pets, one dog, fish, guinea pigs and a rabbit.
We have undertaken a number of house/pet sits so far and looked after owners pets with thoughtfulness and care.

It was good to meet Judith before I left so I could show her the house and her feline charge. I was instantly reassured that Sophy would be in good, caring and experienced hands. Paul arrived a day or two later and both he and Judith left on the day I got back, but a little earlier. However, I found a happy cat to greet me and an immaculate house - sheets and towels washed and drying; bread and milk in the fridge. All good - many thanks!!

I was delighted to hear from Judith and Paul in response to my first house advert. From the outset, they helped me feel confident about trusting my home and dog to their care. They were very understanding and accommodating of my dog’s needs and capabilities. In arranging the house sit, they were responsive and flexible with our needs and dates - it was lovely to meet them the night before we left when they arrived with a gift of wine. Judith and Paul took really good care of our cats, house and garden. They took especially good care of our cat Hugin, who is recovering from an operation. It was a great comfort to know that he was in good hands. They visited us before the house sit to chat about the house and cats etc. They gave us regular updates during the sit and left the house very clean and tidy. Highly recommend Judith and Paul as house/pet sitters. We were so happy leaving our Larry in their hands for the weekend. Taking Larry on a trip to the botanical gardens and walks around the neighbourhood wore him out so well. Our house was left cleaner then we had it, they also washed their sheets before they departed.
