Hello! We’re an Australian couple, embarking on an exciting journey to the UK during our first year of marriage. We both have Youth Mobility Visas, allowing us to live and work in the UK. We’ll be arriving in London in late January and are eager to house-sit while we settle in, explore different areas, and search for more permanent accommodation. Along the way, we’ll also be job hunting—I’m a physiotherapist, and my husband is a fire safety engineer, both with Masters degrees. We are new to house sitters in the UK but we have previously done house sitting before in Australia. As reliable and responsible house sitters, we promise to care for your home, pets, and plants as if they were our own.

Having grown up surrounded by animals in Australia, we have experience with dogs (both large and small), cats, guinea pigs, fish and birds. Our love for animals starts from childhood with our families always having many different pets. In fact, the dog I cared for over 11 years was a Siberian Husky — a fussy eater who often required handfeeding. We understand the unique needs of pets and are happy to accommodate any special requests!

We’re excited to offer peace of mind while you’re away. Both of us are very tidy and will leave your home spotless. We’ll make sure your home feels as cozy and well-cared-for as it did when you left. We will both have UK SIM cards when we arrive in the UK in late January and will be available at all times to contact via phone. Until then we are still able to contact via the house sitters UK message system.
