Hello...I live in Western Australia, a beautiful seaside/holiday destination called Mandurah, about one hour drive south of Perth. I was born in Colchester, and migrated as a child with my family to Australia in 1968. I am self employed, working part-time as a Personal Care Assistant, supporting people living with Dementia and or Frailty, and providing Palliative Care. I have 2 lovely Adult Daughters, wonderful siblings and long time friends. Throughout my life I have been privileged to have the company of many four legged friends, from the size of mice through to horses ( the ponies and horses being my daughters ! ) but particularly much loved cats, dogs and indoor rabbits. At one stage our home life included 2 dogs...golden labrador and boxer, 4 cats, indoor rabbit, guinea pig family, weiro birds, chickens and horses. No longer having animal companions of my own, I often care for those that live with my friends and family members, while they are away on holidays. In the past I have worked as a Veterinary nurse/receptionist, also for 5 years with a Stockfeeds/domestic/farm animal supplies/garden plants etc supplier. Photos are of our beloved Labrador who grew his wings 2 years ago, indoor rabbit and tabby, both grown wings, and current elderly cats who now live with my daughters ( and of course, rule the houses ! ) I will be travelling to England in October this year ( 2025 ) to spend 3 or 4 months ( until January/February 2026 ) catching up with cousins in various counties ( including Essex, Derbyshire, Hertfordshire, and around Stroud, Norwich, Bournemouth, Clacton and Kent ) .
