When it comes to house sitting and caring for your pets, you need look no further. We are your perfect couple.

We are an active, highly capable married couple of 20 years, aged in our 40s and 50s. We have meticulous levels of cleanliness and are practically very capable of resolving almost any pet care, gardening, maintenance or DIY issues. We have loads of experience in caring for a broad range of domestic and farm animals.

I (Kristian) am a qualified town planner and I work for a local council. I have great communication skills and am very organised. Growing up on my families farm and living on a rural properties all my life, I have loads of experience and an in depth knowledge of how to care for all sorts of domestic and farm animals. I have cared for dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, cows and horses over the years and share a love for all animals. I also have a broad range of maintenance, gardening, farming, mechanical and DIY experience. From caring for your pets, gardening, cutting firewood, household repairs, mending fences or broken pipes, I'm your guy.

I (Alison) am a qualified chef and run my own catering business. I love walking and hiking through the countryside. Due to my 20 years experience as a chef, I naturally have high standards when it comes to domestic cleanliness and running a tidy household. I am an experienced gardener and having lived on rural properties most of my life, I have a lot of experience in caring for and maintaining gardens of all kinds. I I have also owned and cared for dogs most of my life, including Border Collies and our current pet Keith the Westie. Keith and I walk for 1-2 hours every day. If you have a dog that loves being outside and exploring the countryside, a kitchen that you like kept super clean or garden that needs careful attention, then I am the just the person.

Our recent pet caring experiences have included caring for Marcie the rescue greyhound for six weeks while family members were moving house. Marcie was recovering form an injury when we came to stay and we were able to help with nursing her back to full health while she stayed with us. We also frequently look after Bonnie, a slightly bossy female westie, again for a family member whenever they are away travelling. We usually have Bonnie for two or three weeks at time and she loves getting out for walks in the forest with Alison and Keith.

Our recent house sitting experience has included caring for Alison's parents property for 12 months, whilst they were living interstate from June 2024 - June 2025. The house is a large two storey, 5 bedroom property with a large garden (approx. 1,800m2) and many outbuildings. We care for everything at the property, including the irrigation and watering system, a fernery, fish ponds, mowing large areas of grass, weeding garden beds and spraying fence lines, along with regularly cleaning gutters, paths and windows around the property.

We are normal people who are honest, friendly and down to earth. We are non smokers and drink rarely. We are great communicators and are very trustworthy. We are new to this house sitting website, but we have uploaded our Airbnb references and other references from family and friends whose pets and homes we have cared for recently. We are available for medium and longer house sits anywhere across the UK and would be happy to care for rural and remote properties. You will absolutely not regret choosing us and we may even become great friends!!
