Hi !
We're Bev & Terry a couple originally from North Yorkshire and have been married some 38 years. We have one daughter, who is currently away studying at University of Melbourne, Australia
We've been lucky enough to have travelled to many parts of the world as well as extensively in the UK and always love to see somewhere new!
We understand how important it is to have your Pets of all shapes, sizes and Ages looked after well and in their own homes.
We both come from families that included a variety of pets from; Tropical fish, and Terrapins, Cats, Dogs Hamsters, and stick Insects ! We've been very fortunate to have looked after a number of homes in the UK (Devon, Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire, Sussex, Cambridge, Wilts. Norfolk.... ) and in many parts of Australia, and to have taken care of some amazing Horses, cool Cats, ( cats with Asthma ! ) curious Llamas, lovable Dogs*, Alpacas and Chickens. We can now add to the list some super sheep, giddy goats and a small herd of cows. How great is that !
* puppies inc Clumber Spaniel, Labradors.; Kelpies, poodles, Chihuahuas., Terriers, Daschunds..... etc !

We are both young at heart, quite fit, (thankfully non-smokers) keen gardeners, and like nothing better than spending time in the garden and on walks, just being outdoors and generally exploring new areas. Love taking the dogs for a nice walk (maybe other pets ! ). Bev is a great cook and Terry is very practical, can fix most things and loves solving problems.
We would love to look after your home, garden or grounds and occupants for you, and give you peace of mind that all will be well for the time that you are away.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: WE DONT CANCEL OUR AGREED SITS AT THE LAST MINUTE !

We couldn't have asked for better sitters for our Poodle, Willow. They really cared for and looked after her to the point where she was sad to see them go. You can't ask for more. Though it wasn't part of the job, they were also great ambassadors for our holiday lets and became friends with some of our guests. We couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend!
It was our first time using House Sitters so were were a little nervous about entrusting our 8 month puppy and house to complete strangers but as soon as we had chosen Bev and Terry we became more and more relaxed through the emails and calls we had before the sitting began. We were very lucky to have Bev & Terry house-sit for us. They arrived with quite short-notice and kept our home safe and sound as well as our dog/rabbits. Thoroughly recommend them.
Bev and Terry were fantastic! We came home to a very happy, healthy and relaxed pup, the garden was freshly mowed, the plants were thriving and the house was immaculate with the sheets already drying on the line! Lovely people, we had no hesitation trusting our house and pup to them and would certainly recommend them to anyone.
Bev and Terry were wonderful home and pet sitters. Their communication leading up to and including their stay was clear and consistent. Bev and Terry were a lovely couple who looked after our wide range of animals really well. The house was left clean and tidy and we arrived back to happy animals. They arrived before we left so we could show them the animals routines and the house and happily waited for us to return home from our holiday. We can highly recommend them.
Bev and Terry has shown to be very flexible when our holiday was cancelled due to Covid. When we rebooked they were more than willing to come on the new dates.
Our dog Luna was a bit sad when they left which shows their care for her which is the best reference you can get,
Bev and Terry were fantastic house / dog sitters - I could not recommend them highly enough and hope they might be available in the future too. The house was immaculate, the garden had been tidied up, and the hens and duck cleaned out and fed. We had 2 very happy dogs that were so content they did not even seem to miss us. Terry and Bev will not message unless necessary so if you want re- assurance about your pet just message them - they will respond quickly.

This is our first experience of houseitters uk. Bev and Terry were excellent. They looked after our precious spoilt little dog perfectly and the house was immaculately clean on our return. We were not allowed on the plane and our return was delayed because of covid documentation and Bev and Terry were very supportive and good communicators. We thoroughly recommend them.

Bev and Terry were good and experienced house sitters. This was our first time using the service, we messaged and talked on the phone prior to meeting and they seemed experienced and very nice. They looked after our much loved ageing dog very well. We returned to a lovely tidy garden and house.

Terry and Bev were wonderful housesitters for us over the Christmas period. They arrived to find our area had gone into Tier 4, it rained solidly for five days and our elderly spaniel unexpectedly became very ill during their stay. Despite this Terry and Bev were always calm, positive, and nothing seemed like too much trouble, They even said they'd enjoyed it! Met Bev & Terry night before we departed, came & stayed night before as we where leaving early, they where friendly asked all the right questions regarding animal care & requirements & anything required for property care. Kindly washed their bedding & towels we had provided so saved us a job, also got us a fresh milk in, much appreciated

I cannot praise Bev and Terry enough, they extremely polite, accomodating, clean and lovely people. I was very nervous as we have never done this before and not had a holiday as a couple before. We left the house and to be honest didnt worry or think about anything at home until we drove back through the front gate. You could just tell everything was going to be fine. Bev and Terry were a great choice. They dived right in, looking after my senior, requiring tablets twice a day, cat, and my 6 month old, still in training, puppy.
They watered my garden and left the apartment cleaner than it is right now.... �
Clear communication and personability left me reassured.

Bev and Terry looked after our dog, cat and chickens for two weeks in October 2019. They were easy to communicate with and always replied to messages promptly. They were capable and experienced house sitters and we felt confident leaving our home and animals in their care. On our return everything was clean and tidy and just as we left it. Terry and Bev are fantastic! They always take great care of my house and, more importantly my dog, Mabel. They leave the house immaculate every time they sit. They are super reliable and really lovely people. They have sat for me so many times and I have them lined up with my trips in 2019 and 2020 as they never let me down and I can not recommend them enough.
We had the pleaure of having Bev and Terry looking after our house and small dog for 12days. We have never used a housesitter/dogsitter before and we were both nervous and suspicious, but from the first conversation with them we could understand they are warm and kind people.

We had the pleasure of having Bev and Terry house and dog sit for us for 6 weeks. We have never left our home or dogs for such an extended period of time and were quite anxious leaving our two 'kids' with strangers. Our anxiety was completely unfounded. We were extremely happy with how Bev and Terry looked after our home and a great relief to know that these two very special people looked after our two dogs with a great amount of care and affection. Terry and Bev house sat for us over the Christmas holidays and looked after our numerous fur babies, two kelpie dogs, two cats and 3 chickens. We came home to all happy and healthy fur babies and our home was just as we left it. Thank you to Terry and Bev for looking after everything for us while we were away. It took a load off our minds so we could enjoy our honeymoon. We would definitely recommend Terry and Bev to anyone needing their home and pets house sat.
I have had the pleasure of having Bev & Terry house & pet sit on two occasions with the third occasion about to take place for 7 weeks. They are very conscious and caring of my home and contents and I have always found my home neat, clean and tidy. My dog 'Bailey', cat 'Vegas' and turtle 'Lester' have always had the utmost care, and are very fond of Bev & Terry.
