Hello to you, and welcome to my profile!

(14/7/24 update: I won't be able to look after dogs who need regular dog walks for the rest of the year, sorry).

I am Michelle and I haven't had any pets since my last dog passed away 2 years ago. But, missing the company of a pet, I have been looking after friend's pets and I've also looked after a dog through Borrow My Doggy and I now look forward to spending time with your pet, in their place, for longer than only a day or two.

I love animals, I simply do. From chameleons to kittens and from cows to dogs. They all add something valuable to our lives and I really like the idea of you trusting me enough to leave your pet(s) in my care, knowing that I will do anything to make their lives as enjoyable as possible (within reason, of course. I won't take them bungee jumping or sky diving, no matter how hard they will try to persuade me).

I consider myself a responsible and caring person and I love the idea that there is no payment involved in my looking after your pet(s). I do it because I care, and because it will bring me to places I've never been before.

The pets I've had myself were: rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas, gerbils, dogs, and degus. I've also worked in a bird sanctuary as a volunteer, where I looked after birds of prey, water birds, garden birds etc. Life with animals is simply better than without.

I am based in the Highlands of Scotland and I have my own transport. I prefer to come to rural places, islands or small villages. I am not a city person, sorry.
